With two weeks down and two to go in our Kickstarter Campaign, we’re ridiculously excited to have hit the 2/3rds mark on fundraising – it’s really happening! We’re really gonna make our first movie! (and please give now if you haven’t yet!)
As most of Kickstarter funds are raised during the first 3 days and the last 3 days, this middle 3 week period is what’s referred to in the industry as “the three middle weeks where not as much happens.” (Someone should talk to the people in the industry and work on a better name for this, by the way.)
What’s most important during this time is to come up with some brilliant, shareable content that somehow, miraculously doesn’t annoy the piss out of people who are pre-disposed to like you. To that end, I had an idea – and thanks to the hard-working, creative design folks at Andy Baker (specifically – Andy Baker) we’ve got this fantastic infographic to share about the tallest boy bands of all time.
You’ll notice that 98 degrees are barely over 200 meters, while the Backstreet boys are an incredible 450 meters – nearly 45 meters taller than the Jonas Brothers. Just for comparison, below is a list of the tallest buildings in the world – you’ll see that N Sync is clearly taller than the Shanghai World Financial center – quite a “feet” for a few boys from Orlando, Florida.
Having visited the top of seven of the tallest boy bands of all time, I can confidently say that the Backstreet Boys has the most spectacular view, while the architectural loveliness of observation deck of the New Kids On The Block is unsurpassed. I’m hoping someday to visit the top of Boyzone, it’s obviously on my bucket list.
What about you, what’s the tallest boy band you’ve ever visited? Were you impressed with the view or do you think it was overrated?
